How long have you worked at Penny Lane, and what exactly do you do?
I have been here a little over a year. I’m the person who will help you when you call or stop in to order Tshirts, pens, hats, etc.
What do you remember your first day here?
I remember being overwhelmed and thinking I would never be able to catch on to what was going on. Now its become part of my life and I am continuing to learn new things about my job. Each day brings something different.
Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
Christine (our front desk receptionist). We always have customers coming in and out throughout the day. She is able to greet and talk with everyone that comes through the door, and she always knows whats going on around here.
Who or what is your current inspiration?
My grandmother has always been my inspiration. She was the kindest most caring person I have ever known and she always cooked with lots of butter and she lived to be 96! There’s something to be said about that…
What are you most passionate about?
My family, my dog Bennie, and cooking. I love cooking healthy meals for both my family and yes my dog too! One day I would love to write my own cookbook with easy and delicious whole-food plant-based recipes.
One last question – what is a favorite recent project?
My favorite recent project was a large apparel order for the Arc of Genesee Orleans. I helped them pick out several products ranging from t-shirts to sweatshirts to fleeces and hats. We put together a flyer and they opened up the ordering to their staff and community to purchase.
